1. Information we collect for the roast feature
- Uploaded content. We collect the images and screenshots you upload for roasting.
- Roast settings. We collect the roast persona you choose, the design type you select, and the visibility setting you apply to a roast.
- Generated results. We store the roast output, including summaries, scores, verdicts, and related metadata.
- Technical data. We may collect IP address, browser information, cookies, session identifiers, and device-level information used to operate, secure, and improve the feature.
- Removal or support requests. If you submit a report or removal request, we collect the contact and supporting information you provide.
2. How we use that information
We use roast-related information to:
- process your upload and generate roast output;
- display your roast according to the visibility setting you selected;
- allow you to revisit, manage, and share your roast;
- operate public roast feeds when a roast is made public;
- monitor misuse, abuse, fraud, or unauthorized uploads; and
- review and act on moderation, rights, and removal requests.
3. Private, unlisted, and public roasts
Roasts may be stored and displayed differently depending on the visibility level selected at the time of submission.
- Private roasts are intended to stay non-public inside the product.
- Unlisted roasts may be viewed by anyone with the direct link.
- Public roasts may appear in the community feed and other public roast pages.
If a roast is made public, the uploaded image and generated roast content may be visible to others. If you believe content was published without permission, use the content removal request form.
4. AI processing
To generate roast output, we may send uploaded content and related request data to AI providers or other service providers that help operate the roast feature. We use that processing to generate the result you asked for, keep the feature working, and diagnose problems.
AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected. You should review them before relying on them.
5. Sharing information
We may share roast-related information:
- with vendors who host, secure, analyze, or operate the feature;
- with AI providers involved in generating the roast response;
- when you intentionally make a roast public or share an unlisted link; and
- when required to comply with law or protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
6. Data retention
We keep roast submissions, generated outputs, and related metadata for as long as reasonably needed to operate the feature, enforce our rules, resolve disputes, and maintain records. Retention may be longer when content is public, shared, reported, or needed for security or legal reasons.
7. Reporting and removal
If you believe a roast includes content uploaded without authorization, infringes your rights, reveals confidential information, or should otherwise be reviewed, you can submit a request through our content removal request form.
We may request additional information before taking action, and we may remove, restrict, or retain content while we investigate.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect roast-related data, but no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
